Conn/Selmer has a web page with dating for a number of their affiliate instruments, though it doesn't look to be complete. If it was lumped in with the Conn 'Reed Mouthpiece' Instruments (as opposed to cup mouthpiece, which I'd think of as more 'brass', then it'd look to be 1899.
